QIt is necessary to have 40% antifreeze solution in the radiator of a certain car

It is necessary to have 40% antifreeze solution in the radiator of a certain car. The radiator now has 40 liters of 20% solution. How many liters of this should be drained and replace with 100% antifreeze to get the desired strength.

I'm having trouble defining the variables and writing the equation. I will solve it so I can do the rest of my questions.

x is amount drained and replaced, so 40-x is the amount remaining for mixing with 100% (20%)(40 - x) + (100%)(x) = (40%)(40)
