Alright, I'm writing a research paper and am so confused. My topic is on whether or not participating in music affects a students standardized test scores. I am keeping track of scores over a period of time by keeping records of students. I know this is quantitative research, but would I also be allowed to include an open-ended questionnaire to find out more about how music has personally affected their education? I realize open-ended questions is qualitative research, I'm not sure if you can use both. Please help I'm so confused and stuck.

Are there any websites that contain information about the Phoenicians? I'm doing a website project on them. I need ones that provide info that is simple but detailed, easy to understand, because alot of the websites are very confusing. Also I can't seem to find any information about the roles of the families of the Phoenicians anywhere, and that's one of the main topics I have to answer. Since I don't know your age or level of education, I don't know how simple these sites will be for you. Since this is not my area of expertise, I searched Google under the key words "Phoenicians" to get these possible sources: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenicia http://www.lebanon2000.com/ph.htm http://home.cfl.rr.com/crossland/AncientCivilizations/Middle_East_Civilizations/Phoenicians/phoenicians.html http://www.laa.org/tours/phoenicians.htm http://www.historyforkids.org/learn/westasia/history/phoenicians.htm Adding "family roles" to the key words, I found: http://www.everyculture.com/multi/Le-Pa/Lebanese-Americans.html I hope this helps.
